Born in Queens, NY & raised in Ft Lauderdale, FL in a Filipino household, music & dancing were two things Kuya Tristan always found true to his heart. His eclectic taste & ability to seamlessly blend genres has allowed him to play in notable venues across Florida. It was in Flushing, Queens where he found his love for Michael Jackson, Tom Jones, The Fugees, Biggie Smalls, & Outkast. After moving to Fort Lauderdale at the age of 12, it was then that he began expanding into other genres of music such as Reggaeton, Dancehall & House music. These combinations have cultivated the diverse selection of styles displayed in his sets to this day. With his career beginning at Florida State University, he was quick to share the stage and provide direct support for highly notable artists that came through Tallahassee such as Diplo, Steve Aoki, Dillon Francis, Young Jeezy, & The Migos. Today, you can find Kuya Tristan all throughout South Florida rockin' at some of the biggest venues!
